The Built Environment
The built environment is all around us in the form of buildings, structures, and open spaces providing a rich and varied learning resource. In the area of the Floating Harbour there are examples of many kinds of structures from docks furniture, warehouses, artistic interpretation, new builds, bridges, pontoons, private residences, public buildings, to pubs and cafés. Some of these are decorative, some functional, some derelict and some threatened, but all offer opportunities for investigation.
